Festival Sira in šnopca // Čadrg // 24 August 2004 This was our first gig ever. We participated at a two days festival in Cadrg. Cadrg is a village well hidden from civilization and we actually had to walk the last mile to the venue. The guys who organized the festival took our equipment there with a jeep. The venue was great with lots of people there already. We got some food and loads of booze, although we had our own supplies as well. Because we had to wait for so many hours to do the gig we got quite nervous. That led to quite a bit of drinking but it was so cold we couldn't feel it anyway. Our friends from Ljubljana came around 23.00. We're still wondering how did they make it in complete darkness on that really narrow & uphill road. Fuck yeah to them! Anyhow we got on stage at midnight or even later and we played our tunes. We received a really good response from the crowd. Well mainly it was our friends and lots of booze but there were others enjoying it too. We played for about an hour and did "Vula" as an encore. After the show we were still buzzing with excitement. We had a few beers more and that was basically it for the day. Anyhow it was a good experience, nice surroundings and all that crap. Here's some photos from that day: << back to gigs
